Tasmania's highlights in a day
Aumay Travel runs day tours to Tasmania's best-known destinations in vehicles from 11-seat minibuses upward. Each tour can be booked privately for your group or shared with a small number of other groups to bring the cost down.
- Wineglass Bay and Freycinet (about 11 h): a long but rewarding day on the east coast, to Freycinet National Park, home of the Wineglass Bay lookout.
- Bruny Island food and lighthouse (about 9.5 h): a ferry crossing to the island, local produce and coastal scenery, with the lighthouse as a highlight.
- Port Arthur and the Tasman Peninsula (about 8.5 h): the World Heritage-listed convict site plus coastal landmarks along the way. Entry tickets are not included.
- Hobart highlights (about 6.5 h): the summit of kunanyi / Mt Wellington, the colonial village of Richmond, and MONA.
- Cradle Mountain (about 9.5 h): alpine lakes and wilderness scenery in the Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park, including the Dove Lake area.
- Bridestowe Lavender and Tamar Valley (about 6.5 h): a seasonal tour timed for the December to January bloom.
Three ways to book the same tour
Our pooled pricing model is designed to be fair and transparent. You choose how you want to travel:
- Private: the whole vehicle for your group at the full private price.
- Accept pooling: pay the solo-group tier up front. It is already below the private price, and it is your final price even if nobody else joins.
- Save more as groups join: if one or two more groups join, every group drops to a cheaper tier and the difference is refunded automatically at settlement, 48 hours before departure. You never pay more later.
You stay in control: choose the maximum number of groups (2 or 3) and the largest vehicle size you are comfortable sharing. Group sizes are small (1 to 2 travellers), medium (3 to 4) and large (5 to 6).

Good to know before you go
- Tour prices include vehicle and driver. Attraction tickets and ferry fares are not included unless confirmed.
- Shared tour cancellation: 7 or more days 100% refund; 72 hours to 7 days 80%; 48 to 72 hours 50%; after settlement no refund, but your booking is transferable.
